The Fish Shack Ibiza is the best kept secret of Ibiza - probably because it's quiet hard to find. It is situated close to hotspots Sa Punta and Patch Work, but still a bit further in between the rocks. Forty odd plastic chairs are planted in the middle of the rock at the Fish Shack. The little parasols are slowly waving in the sea breeze.

Hours: M-Thurs: 10:30 AM - 8 PM, F: 10:30 AM - 9 PM, Sat - Sun: 10AM - 8:30 PM. After finding parking in their lot, you make your way to either the straight seafood outdoor area or the inside seating. The inside seating has more options but is busier. Either way, you simply walk up to the counter and order, then try to find a seat.

THE FISH SHACK @ TALAMANCA Also known as Chiringuito Sa Punta, a tiny little shack on the rocks perched delicately at the sea's edge at the very end of Talamanca beach, this is hard to find as there are no signposts or roof! This is one spot that you don't read about everywhere, which makes it all the more special Head for Restaurant Sa Punta in Talamanca, and when you reach it, keep going.

A simple shack (looks like a chiringuito concession) on the rocks, the Fish Shack serves some of the finest - if not the finest - fish around. UJ fave is the dorada, although sea bass is a close second and everything else - grilled squid, prawns - is good. Don't leave without having dessert and a café de caleta (coffee with liquor).
